Paul Christopher Flynn Art Exhibition

Paul Christopher Flynn Art Exhibition

For the past year, internationally renowned artist Paul Christopher Flynn has worked exclusively on a series of paintings to be shown in China. Mr. Flynn, asked SG-[010] Productions to conceive, promote and manage an art show in Beijing with the objective of selling his work.

In order to reach the widest number of potential buyers for Mr. Flynn, SG010 organised three unique events with each designed to cater to a different audience: a private members club, a premium restaurant and a show in Beijing’s 798 art district. All three events were extremely well attended with more than 700 people coming to see Paul’s work.

SG010 also partnered with key media outlets to ensure quality and extensive coverage. Reports appeared across selected English, Chinese and Korean media on television, print and online media.

Hilton Hotel PR campaign

The Hilton Beijing Hotel was looking to outsource the creation, execution and management of a series of events aiming at attracting new customers at their outlet ZETA Bar.

SG-[010] Productions developed a complete PR campaign that included event concept and implementation, media relations and overall logistics.

One approach to attract new customers was to organize a series of special and unique events based on a “hip” series theme. This series, which offered innovative and multi-media concepts, premium entertainment and media partnership, and a strong interaction component, was based on a very popular theme that resonated well with both the expatriate and local clientele.

Arctic Groove Series

Arctic Groove Series

In May 2004, SG-[010] Productions created the Arctic Groove Music Series on behalf of the Canadian Embassy in Beijing. The goals of the series were to brand Canada as a dynamic, creative and 'cool' country, while engaging new audiences. This series of performances and workshops also included meetings with key cultural industry contacts.

The first part of the series was held in July 2004 and introduced DJ Kid Koala. The second part featured 10 artists from Montreal’s MUTEK New Sound and Technology Festival in Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen.

For the Arctic Groove Series, SG-[010] Productions had to break every rule in the game and present new ideas. The main idea was to develop a synergy between local and Canadian artists by featuring various mediums on stage.

Furthermore, SG010 wanted the Canadian artists to create a true 'cultural partnership', with local talents. This was achieved through workshop, industry panels and jam sessions organised in various cities.
